A single daff this time and with a little bit better results. I found the shading the most difficult to achieve accurately but didn't want to do too much blending as this sketchbook doesn't have the surface for it. Moving on...

Thanks so much Kathleen, I feel like I achieved much more accuracy with this one with respect to tone and correct shape. I was really interested in doing a study of just the one, it got more attention from me and I like it w/o a bkgd too.
I think you've done a great job, it's beautifully vibrant and yes you got the tone and shape down perfectly.
